   Youth festival 2018

We have three days 26th,27th, and 28th October youth festival in our Mk bhavnagar university .
"Aeshvaryam yuva manthan" organized by Takshshila institute of science and commerece.
In this youth festival many events are there likes:
* Elocution competition
* Essay writing
* poetry writing and reciting
* on the sport photography
* on the spot painting
* poster making
* cartooning
* mono acting
* rangoli
* quiz
* Installation etc..

Mono Acting :   mono acting also wonderful peroformed by artist.  All three are different in concept. 

I have seen only one mono- acting  and it was very nice and performed by Nirali

She performed role of lady Hawker. 

She presents two type of roles;  comic and emotion. 

 audience most like her emotioal role and that time audience felt catharsis. 

One act play : this play performed by our department students directed by Alpa ponda . I observed in this play present like of ' Hijra' or ' kinner ' the main theme is third gender problem and women problem. 

Rangoli : In the events of Rangoli three are many Rangoli but all were traditional but over senior zakhana matholiya has made unique idea of rangoli; has combined - Nowadays these both elements are important in one 's life and she has got third Rank of rangoli compition. 

                    

Q. How faithful is movie to the original         play ?

Ans : we are watching a movie,it is very faithful than an original play. I have not read original full book of hamlet by Shakespeare but, after watching movie i can say that many scenes are added by directer which are not described in real play. 

Q. After watching the movie, have your perception about play, character of situation changed? 

Ans : yes, after watching the movie my perception changed the ghost scene came. I thought that it will come after some brief introduction of kings death. 

Second prince Hamlet was looking good and as a prince of Denmark he will be very attractive person but in movie i don't find him as my imagination. 

Q. Do you feel aesthetic delight while watching the movie? If yes, exactly when did it happen? If no,can you explain with reasons? 

Ans : yes, when Hamlet was died and his words were gave me aesthetic delight "The rest is silence ".it was gave me aesthetic delight. 

Q.  Do you feel 'cathrsis 'while watching the movie?  If yes, exactly when did happen? If no, can you explain with reasons ?

Ans : yes,  i feel cathrsis while watching the movie in act -4 when Hamlet distinct to take revenge. Another scene is that sorrowful condition words for her.  She suffered internally in first act Hamlet say 

       'had must hold my tongue ,

             Break my heart! '

Q.  Does screenin of movie helpful in better understanding of the play? 

Ans : yes,screening of Hamlet movie helps me to understand the characters, themes, characters emotions .After screening movie helpful to understand character more than original play. 

Q.  Was there any particular scene or movement in the movie that yoy will cheris lifetime? 

Ans : The beautiful character 'Ophelia 'in the movie she did not raise her voice ,i think she love Hamlet more than anyone. but we see that accidentally Hamlet kill her father and she listened that Hamlet kill her father. She did not understand the situation and at last we see that she is mad and committed suicide. So,  Ophelia's character will cherish in the movie. 

Q.  If yoy are director, what changes would yoy like to make in the remarking if movie on Shakespeare Hamlet?  

Ans : if i am directer first of all i want to change last scene to create happy ending. and i want to change Ophelia's characters. in the movie she is so innocent. If i am directer i want fearless, strong, and independent character of Ophelia.

Q. In the beginning of the movie camera rolls over the statue of king Hamlet out side the Elsinore castle. The movie ends with the similar sequence wherein the statue of the king Hamlet is hammered down to the dust. What sort of symbolism do yoy read in this?
Ans : In the beginning of the movie, camera rolls over the statue of king hamlet out side Elsinore castle it is shows that the king of Denmark is hamlet and in the last we see that the soldiers of fortinbras broken down the Hamlet statue .It is show that the rules of king hamlet is over and we says that without death of king Hamlet plot moved to next plot.

Q. While studying the play through movie which approch do you find more applicable to the play?  Why?  Give reasons with illustration.
Ans : I think psychological approach is more applicable for the play because hamlet fight with own self and hamlet is suffered from "odeipus complex " he felt hatred for his mother's marriage with his uncle. We found him as a mad person in the play.

Q. Which of the above mentioned approaches  appeals you more than others? Why?  Give reasons.
Ans :  I think that psychological approach should be appeals more than other because this play is describes disease, hegemony ,revenge, 

Mario Vargas 
Llosa 

   Mario Vargas Llosa was born in 1936 in Arequipa. Peru's second largest city.
Mario Vargas Llosa is a Peruvian writer, politician, journalist,essayist and college professor.vargas llosa is one of latin America's most significant novelists and essayist,and one of the leading writers of his generation .

He was awarded the noble prise for literature in the Zolo.He was considered as a noble laurate. He was interviewed for the worldpost by skafidas a journalist and professor at City University of New York.

Here some ideas i like 

* I am convinced that the faminist movement's voice should be heard, but he don't accept this idea of censorship for literature or for culture in general.

* if you are killed because you are writer,that's the maximum expression of respect, you know!

* History and literature are faces of a coin. They are so close and in many cases the litraty version of historical part prevails over historian 's account.
